Цель: Довести до аудитории концепцию облачных технологий. Познакомить с архитектурой облачной платформы Azure от MS. Походу попытаться разрушить устоявшиеся стереотипы (у кого они есть), препятствующие использованию Azure в разрабатываемых приложениях. Или сформировать новые – это как получится. Цель: Хотелось бы рассказать о новой двунаправленной клиентской data-binding JS framework, как о средстве оптимизации процесса разработки UI. Будет код, будет демо.

Цель: Пора бы уже раскрыть глаза, как интегрировать в свое решение устройства по приему денег (купюр, монет). Познакомить всех с протоколами, готовыми системами и опытом работы в этой сфере. На выступлении можно будет в своих руках повертеть три гаджета и потестировать на них своиx деньгах. Так что не забудьте придти как с бумажной, так и со звенящей наличностью.

Agile development is gaining more popularity and ground all over the software development industry. Although, the approach has been around for over a decade, different agile software development methodologies are becoming more popular and applied in our fast-paced everyday life more and more.
MobileMonday Estonia is trying to look at Agile from a focused angle – we will try to understand if mobile software development is Agile-enabled by theory and also by best-practices.
Thanks to our partners at Devtraining the event will be opened by Mary Poppendieck to introduce Lean Software Development principles from the originator
herself.
Mary will discuss how development teams can discover and build products that customers love. To confirm the workings of the theory we will also hear real-life examples from Estonian companies who have worked within the mobile industry.

Февральская встреча уже позади, и хотелось бы подвести ее итоги. Во-первых, как оказалось, пятница — отличный день для встречи. Да, девушек приходит значительно меньше (нам пока еще тяжело соревноваться с клубами, где музыка звучит намного громче, чем любой из «докладчиков»), зато этот раз было много новых лиц, и почти все они остались до самого конца. Во-вторых, как я понимаю, многим понравилась регистрация через devclub-eu.eventbrite.com, и мы можем смело продолжать ее использовать.
Пока мы не пошли дальше, вспоминаем как это было вместе с Антоном:
Еще один хороший момент: оказывается, что в гаражах порой творятся интереснейшие вещи. Надеюсь, некоторым из вас точно захотелось поучаствовать, за что мы скажем: «Дмитрий, спасибо!» Кто хочет (пере/по)смотреть видео его выступления и/или оценить — вам сюда.
Что касается темы Эдуарда про регулярные выражения, то, я уверен, он смог поразить даже тех, кто был уверен, что точно разбирается, как их «готовить». И именно за этот факт, манеру и доступность изложения мы ему очень сильно признательны. Видео и оценки находятся здесь.
Относительно презентации «Мир Lisp’a» у многих из нас были опасения: сколько людей переживут hands on по функциональному программированию без ущерба для психики? Оказалось, что потери были минимальны, Евгений блестяще справился с задачей, но если хоть что-то оказалось непонятным, и ваша игра не работает, как положено — кликаем по этой ссылке.
Между прочим, самые стойкие и интересующиеся остались на afterparty, где до часу ночи говорили на множество интересных IT-шных и околоIT-шных темах. Жаль, что Андрей не запечатлел это событие, но, говорят, оно стоило того:

Очень странно видеть, как программисты избегают регулярных выражений там, где они могли бы сильно облегчить жизнь. В своём докладе Эдуард Шустров рассказывает, что такое регулярные выражения и для чего их можно применять в других языках программирования.
